McCoy lost the starting job to fellow veteran Frank Gore, whom the Bills signed this offseason. Rookie Devin Singletary will serve as the backup.

The 31-year-old, six-time Pro Bowler McCoy will now become an unrestricted free agent and look to find a team willing to pay him over $6 million per year.
