Cam Newton is hitting the market…
After the team gave their longtime quarterback permission to seek a trade last week, the Panthers will be releasing Newton after no trade was worked out.

After being taken with the first overall pick in the 2011 draft by the franchise, Cam threw for just over 29,000 yards with 182 TDs to 108 INTs through 125 games. Newton lead the Panthers to a Super Bowl appearance in 2016.
