Some of the most flamboyant takes on ESPN’s football coverage were that of former NFL greats Cris Carter and Ray Lewis.
That looks to be no longer.
According to a report from Pro Football Talk, Carter and Lewis are out at ESPN, for reasons not clear at the moment.
There’s no word on if the incident involving Ray Lewis’s son having been charged for the sexual assault of two women have anything to do with ESPN’s decision, or if Cris Carter’s infamous “fall-guy” rant was the motive behind that firing.

Both Carter and Lewis were missing from the station’s NFL Draft coverage just a week ago.
Randy Moss, fellow Vikings great, will reportedly come fill the void, departing from his current position as an analyst/host FOX Sports.
ESPN notably lost long-time host Skip Bayless recently to FOX Sports, and fired Curt Schilling after disobeying orders to stop talking about certain subjects on his personal social media accounts.
