Jeremy Lane, though not as popular has his Sherman and LOB counterparts, is an integral part of the best defense in the NFL. During the first quarter of Super Bowl XLIX, Lane intercepted Tom Brady on an arid pass over the middle only to break his arm on what looks like a gruesome compound fracture after returning the ball the other way. We now know why they didn’t show the replay live. Lane is obviously out for the remainder of the game.
