For all the grief Cowboys fans gave Tony Romo during his career in Dallas, a large majority probably wouldn’t mind seeing him back in a jersey right now.
Sitting at 1-2, the Cowboys are struggling with Dak Prescott under center, barley able to muster 200 passing yards in a game.
Romo, who’s currently broadcasting for CBS, appeared on 105.3 The Fan Wednesday, saying his health would not be stopping him from making a return to the field from the booth.
Tony Romo just told us on @1053thefan that his health would not prevent him from playing right now. Basically said his health would be a non factor in a hypothetical return to playing. So for those who believe he quit playing over his health, he clearly disagrees with you.

Tony Romo: “I probably played much more hurt back in ’13 or ’14 then I would be now. … Yeah, I’m healthy enough,” Romo said on 105.3 The Fan. “That wouldn’t be an issue at all. That would be the least of my thoughts when it came to a decision like that.”
