The Charlotte Observer is reporting that Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was injured in a two-car crash in Charlotte today. Newton’s pickup truck was overturned and he was loaded into an ambulance and taken to the hospital.

Witnesses indicated Newton’s truck flipped over four times, according to WSOC9’s Mark Mecker.
