Georgia Coach Injures Own Player By Slapping His Helment While Celebrating

If there’s any indicator of how Georgia’s season is going this year, it’s this.

During the second half of Georgia matchup with SEC rival Auburn, Georgia came up with a big play, and as the coaches and players celebrated, a Georgia couch slapped his defensive back, Rico McGraw pretty hard, and with his head in an awkward position, he fell to the ground. McGraw actually stayed on the ground for quite some time with the attention of UGA’s medical staff.

The Bulldogs were tied with Auburn at the time, but have since taken the lead mid the 4th quarter.

McGraw has fortunately been evaluated and has since re-entered the game. No word yet on what exactly the injury was, which looked like a neck stinger.
