As the NFL Combine sets to kickoff this week, many draft prospects are preparing themselves physically and mentally to make great impressions on NFL teams.
Now, as you all know, the NFL Combine carries many football drills that notates players abilities but behind the scenes there are sit down meetings between teams and prospects where teams ask these prospects questions and really try to get to know them as much as possible.
However, there are questions that leave prospects wondering “what the hell does this have to do with football?”
Former Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Austen Lane took to Twitter to share some of the most bizzare questions he was asked during his time at the NFL Combine; Lane also added some hilarious GIFs to mimic his reactions:
When a scout at the combine asked me… “If you could kill someone and not get caught, would you?” pic.twitter.com/mwK5UX8gvW

Lane was a fifth round pick out of Murray State in the 2010 Draft selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars. After three seasons in Jacksonville, Lane had short stints with the Chiefs, Lions and Bears before retiring last August.
The questions he shared on his Twitter account clearly didn’t have much to do with football, but it does shed some light on what goes on in those meeting rooms.
Who would have thought “boxers or briefs” could help determine if a player is worthy of a certain draft pick?
