The Atlanta Falcons suffered inarguably one of the most heartbreaking losses in NFL history Sunday, seeing a 25-point lead evaporate into thin air as the Lombardi was snatched from them by Tom Brady and the Patriots. Even retailers in Atlanta began stocking shelves with championship merchandise, only to have to take it down once the game ended.
The only thing that could help sooth the pain would be a warm welcome once the team returned home. Apparently, that didn’t happen either.
The Falcons returned home Tuesday to a raucous crowd of about 20 people.

It’ll take more than a historic Super Bowl loss to keep these #Falcons fans down. Hear from the ones who welcomed the team home @ 6pm! pic.twitter.com/h69Sqd1Zpk
