Watch Russell Wilson Fake A Sideline Concussion Test After Big Hit To Get Back Into Game

In coherence with the NFL’s emphasis on player safety, especially when it comes to hits to the head, the league instituted a scenario where officials can force players to go to the sideline to receive medical clearance before returning to action.

That situation occurred during Thursday Night Football, when Seahawks QB Russell Wilson was hit by a blitzing Cardinals defender in the head. The referee called for Wilson to exit the field, to which he did, only to go into the team’s medical tent and reappear less than a second later, seemingly mocking the concussion protocol.

Wilson was in and out of there like Abw Simpson at a burlesque house.

Reports are the Seahawks could face up to a $150k fine for Wilson’a incoherence.
