EA Sports Donates $1 Million To The Families Of The Jacksonville Shooting Victims

Over the weekend, yet another tragic shooting took place, this time at a Madden 2019 tournament in Jacksonville, FL.

Three people were confirmed dead, including the shooter, who committed suicide, along with several other sustaining injuries. Among those killed were Taylor Robertson and Elijah Clayton, two of the top Madden competitors in the country.

Electronic Arts, the creators of the video game Madden 19 announced on Thursday that they were making a sizable donation of $1 million to the families of the victims:

The fund will also allow others to make additional contributions, as well as hold a Jacksonville Tribute Livestream with members from the community on September 6th.
