Sam Darnold is already fitting right in as a Jets QB.
The rookie QB drafted No. 1 overall by New York in this year’s draft was elected the team’s Week 1 starter despite getting to camp late due to contract negotiations, and given the start for the Jet’s Week 1 game against the Lions on Monday Night Football.
Let’s just say it didn’t exactly start how he and the Jets would have liked it to, tossing a pick-6 on the very first snap of his NFL career.
