Alabama QB Jalen Hurts Transfers To Oklahoma

Kyler Murray may he leaving the University of Oklahoma, but the Sooners will be in good hands next season under center.

Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts has announced he will be transferring to OU this spring.

Hurts, who entered the NCAA transfer portal last week, is eligible for one final year of eligibility remaining and will be able to start for the Sooners immediately as a graduate transfer.

As the Crimson Tide’s quarterback backing up Tua Tagovailoa this season, Hurts went 51 of 70 for 765 yards with eight touchdown passes. He also ran for 167 yards and two TDs, one of those winning the game for Bama against Georgia in the SEC championship game.

Hurts has only lost two games in his entire career.
