There was a time where the NFL, and almost every major sports league wouldn’t even consider putting a professional team in Las Vegas, and boy has that changed.
The NFL is taking full advantage of the formerly Oakland Raiders relocating to Sin City, announcing that Vegas will be the site of the league’s 2020 Draft.
The actual plans for the event are even crazier.
The league will reportedly hold the draft atop the water of the famous Fountains of the Bellagio outside the Bellgaio Hotel.
Players will be transported be boat to the stage after being selected, and you can count on at least one player making a splash.
Since being held annually in Radio City Music Hall in New York City, the Draft has become more of a traveling road show of sorts, allowing fans from across the country to experience the event with a new location each year.
The 2020 NFL Draft will take place April 23-25.
