Typically when a high-profile athlete is in the news, it’s not for good reasons.
This is yet another instance.
Kelly Stafford, wife of Detroit Lions QB Matt Stafford hopped on Instagram on Thursday to rant about her feelings of living in a “dictatorship” during a pandemic which has killed 1.4 million people.
Kelly’s reasoning was due to the negative effects on Michigan small businesses, which while sound, was gloriously followed up with a video of her shopping at Target before heading home to her $7 million home while being considering at-risk due to past health difficulties.
Stafford is a well known figure in the Michigan community due to her battle against a brain tumor, which was met with an outpouring of support.
She later apologized for her words.
