Dallas Cowboys Flexed Out Of Primetime Game Slot For First Time In 14 Years

America’s Team is America’s Team no longer, at least for this week.

A day after getting blown out by the Baltimore Ravens, the most popular team in the NFL has been yanked from their primetime slot this upcoming Sunday night game against the 49ers in favor for another, more meaningful game.

The Cowboys and 49ers are both last in their division, all but out of it in their respective playoff races in years where they were supposed to be contenders.

Instead of telecasting a game featuring teams with a combined 8-16 record, the league is opting for another matchup, featuring the Cleveland Browns and the New York Giants, both of which are red hot and in playoff contention.

The Cowboys game will now be played at 1PM on the same day.
