Rob Gronkowski Announces Retirement From NFL For Second Time

Rob Gronkowski called it quits after the 2020 season, and unsparingly to just about everyone, un-retired not too long later when a friend of his named Tom Brady gave him a call and a gave him a nudge to get back out there.

Two seasons and one more Super Bowl ring later, and the future Hall of Famer has announced he is hanging them up again.

Gronk announced the news in a post on social media Tuesday afternoon.

In reaction to Rob Gronkowski’s news, his agent Drew Rosenhaus texts: “It would not surprise me if Tom Brady calls him during the season to come back and Rob answers the call. This is just my opinion but I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob comes back during the season or next season.”
