The Atlanta Falcons might be zeroing on their next head coach and it’s a pretty big name.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Falcons owner Arthur Blank met with former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick for their vacant head coaching job and Pelissero adds that there is “mutual interest” between both sides and conversations will be ongoing.
This was Belichick’s first known interview since he and the New England Patriots parted ways last week. We will wait and see if there will be other interviews especially with the Dallas Cowboys. There are rumblings that Jerry Jones might make a change at head coach following a disappointing playoff exit.
