Eagles’ Fletcher Cox Calls Reporter A Clown For Asking About Nick Sirianni’s Job

The Philadelphia Eagles collapse at the end for her season has many speculating about the future of Nick Sirianni with the Eagles.

During locker cleanout on Wednesday, Eagles’ star defensive tackle Fletcher Cox was asked his thoughts on the Sirianni speculation.

And he wasn’t a fan of it.

“Have you gotten any wind of what’s going to happen with Nick?” the reporter asked him. “Do you have confidence that if you do come back, confidence in him if he’s also the head coach?”

“Like any news about … what about Nick?” Cox responded, looking confused.

“There’s obviously been some speculation about whether he may be fired or not,” the reporter said. Cox quickly said, “Huh?”

“Yeah,” the reporter replied. “C’mon man. Man, he’s the head football coach of this team,” Cox said. “C’mon man, we ain’t even — that ain’t even no f***** discussion.

There’s also a chance that Monday night’s 28-9 defeat to the Buccaneers was also Cox’s last game in Philadelphia. Cox, who is set to become a free agent in March, didn’t just clean out his locker, he cleared it out, leaving many to believe that his playing days in Philly are over.

If it is the end of Fletcher Cox in Philadelphia, he exits as the franchise’s all-time sack leader.
