Panthers have their guy (and knowing the Panthers, it’s probably the wrong guy)
The Carolina Panthers have hired now former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dave Canales as their next head coach after firing Frank Reich last season.
Canales, who was the head of the offensive side of the football in Tampa in 2023, got the job after being an assistant for the Seattle Seahawks and USC trojans.
His work with the Bucs offense and Baker Mayfield in particular reportedly impressed David Tepper and the Panthers front office.
