Whatever helps motivate the players, right?
As LSU prepared to take the field to face off against Mississippi State in Baton Rouge on Saturday, ESPN cameras caught an odd and pretty dangerous pump-up routine.
As players huddled up near the 35-yard line, an LSU assistant grabbed tight end Racey McMath by the facemask, and pulled him in as he head-butted him twice.
Did we mention that the coach was not wearing a helmet? Yup, see for yourself:

LSU went on to defeat Miss State, 19-3 but for the sake of their strength coach, let’s hope they find a different way to motivate their team.
